DELTARUNE Chapter 4 sports several new secrets and ways to acquire some cool items. One of the best items in the game is the Goldwidow Armor, which adds some stats to any party member you equip it on.
However, the armor can be tricky to find, especially if you don’t know where to look. Here’s everything you need to know about acquiring the Goldwidow Armor in DELTARUNE.
How to get money for the Goldwidow Armor

To get the Gold Widow armor, you’ll need at least 10,000 Dark Dollars, which you have to donate to the Old Man’s Library waterfall. As this is a lot of money, you’ll need to gather as much funds as possible from enemies, and be very selective in the items you purchase.
The quickest way to grind for money is to explore as many areas as possible and defeat all the enemies you encounter. This process may take a while, but it is an effective method to grind for money, especially if you run into stronger enemies.
After gathering enough Dark Dollars, you can now head to the Old Man’s Library. Enter his study, head up the stairs and enter the first doorway. Turn left at the first intersection, and you’ll see the waterfall. Once you find the waterfall, you can begin donating to it. Donate 10,000 Dark Dollars to secure the Goldwidow Armor.
It’s important that you obtain the money and donate it before progressing in the game, as failing to do so will prevent you from receiving it. However, you won’t be able to get the armor until you progress later into the chapter, solve the piano puzzle, and get to the second Sanctuary.
How to claim the Goldwidow Armor
Once you get to the second Sanctuary, you’ll see another waterfall similar to the one in the first Sanctuary. However, this waterfall only allows you to claim your donation rewards. You’ll see a treasure chest in the same room. Interact with it, and you can claim your new Goldwidow armor.
The items you can claim are dependent on how much you donate. You can only claim one item from the pool of donation rewards. Claiming the Goldwidow will forfeit cheaper rewards, such as a Blitter Tear and Revive Mint. However, as the armor is very useful, the sacrifice is worth it.
The Goldwidow Armor provides +1 Attack, +5 Defense, and +1 Magic, but has a passive effect that reduces all money gained by ten percent. However, in exchange, it gathers coins for you. The armor can be equipped on every character but Noelle.
