Where to find all The Midnight Walk Story Pages

This guide is separated by chapter with images shown in chronological order, based on a single playthrough. You can jump to the start of any chapter from the main menu. Although this will overwrite your current progress, you should do this when you’ve completed the game, or look at this guide when you’re at the start of your first playthrough.

There aren’t any spoilers. Visit Housy in the main menu to look at your collectibles and learn the full plot of The Midnight Walk. The story is called “Who Took The Sun Away?” and has 15 film reels. There are no Story Pages in The Tale of the Dark chapter.

Tale of the Burnt One

One of 15Right before you meet Potboy and lit his flame, you can find the first film reel on the half-burnt tree, opposite a candle in an open forest area, near two Doll locations.

The Tale of the Loathsome Molgrim

Three of 15To the right of Soulfisher’s campfire when you first meet him.
Four of 15Follow the third blue triangle candle in Molgrim territory to a pipe you need to send Potboy through to ignite a furnace so you can climb up to where he is, close to the open-mouthed wooden pod Potboy can pilot with his flame. The record is here, right before you fly to another area.
Five of 15After walking past the returning Bodies, you can find the film reel in a tree, next to a Shellphone.

The Tale of Coalhaven

Six of 15Next to the giant Cat at the start of this chapter.
Seven of 15Follow Potboy to the third candle when the temperature drops, staying close to keep warm. Right before the strong wind section starts, you can find the film reel in a boulder next to the third candle.
Eight of 15When you’re going to the house in Coalhaven, you’re told about the vicar wanting protection from bad luck. Go through the opened gate and turn left, behind a masked figure and up some steps for the film reel.
Nine of 15To the right of the Old Man who is holding onto the girl’s skull in Coalhaven.
10 of 15After freeing Coalhaven you follow Housy where a Catbus-like creature crosses a bridge. The film reel is right before the bridge.

The Tale of the Craftsman’s Heart

13 of 15Near the giant projector that tells the Craftsman’s tale following the narrator’s words: “Who was right or wrong mattered little – as the beast awoke and ate them all.”

The Tale of Moon Mountain

15 of 15In the desert biome with shipwrecks, you’re searching for Potboy and see a lit campsite ahead of you. The final film reel is on this linear path before you reach the fire.
